No weekend updates yet - yesterday was 10 years and I spent the evening by myself decorating my pathetic zellers tree with all of my lovely Ikea decorations.
not quite finished with the decorations....maybe there will be a surprise waiting for you when you get home..... on an unrelated note - do you like Nutcrackers?
Hearts... hearts sent your way. I love that you have a Christmas Tree. With decorations, even! I want to come drink hot cocoa in fron of the tree. ( I really don't like the term, "hot cocoa". Generally it iritates me, but here, for some reason, I particularly like it). In fact, the aforementioned tree and decorations makes me feel "atitter" (credit for that word given to Heather D.C. Moulton). Well played, Linda, well played indeed.
not so well played I think - although I would LOVE for you to come have some hot cocoa with me in front of the tree or fake fireplace...shall we make it a date?
Did you try cutting small branches out of real trees and stuffing them in your Christmas tree? Or getting dried Christmas-y branches / flowers from the flower or craft store to stuff in it? My mom does that on our tree, which is fake. She cuts some of the branches from our Mountain Ash tree and then dries them. Although it sounds absolutely tacky, it turns out to be quite beautiful. . See you soon for "hot cocoa"! KQ
