A poem for you

This poem was just brought to my attention and I love it - funny stuff I tell you...

It's not so much art,
But just counting syllables,
Haikus are stupid

That is the best poem I have ever heard. Better even than the one about the man from Nantucket. Does anyone know any lines to that limerick, other than
"There once was a man from Nantucket"

How does that poem end?

nope - sorry, I've always wondered that myself

One of the earliest known clean versions of the Man from Nantucket motif is this rendition from 1924:

There once was a man from Nantucket
Who kept all his cash in a bucket.
But his daughter, named Nan,
Ran away with a man
And as for the bucket, Nantucket.

Other sequels to this version go as follows:

But he followed the pair to Pawtucket,
The man and the girl with the bucket;
And he said to the man,
He was welcome to Nan,
But as for the bucket, Pawtucket.

Then the pair followed Pa to Manhasset,
Where he still held the cash as an asset,
But Nan and the man
Stole the money and ran,
And as for the bucket, Manhasset.

That is my new favourite poem, just edging out the aforementioned haiku.
