A tribute

I've been terribly callous and derelict in my duties with regards to paying hommage to our beloved Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin. Let me tell you all that I have always admired his bravenss and true zeal for life. He really lived his life and had so much fun - we could all really take away a great lesson from him, he died doing what he truly loved.

Rest in Peace Steve, you will be missed.

I was a fan of The Crocodile Hunter and was shocked and saddened to hear of his death on the news yesterday. I went ahead and put a memorial entry about him on my blog as well. Apparently there are a lot of fans in the blogosphere judging by all the entries about him that I've read today. His passion was genuine and not created for television. Apparently he'd be just as enthusiastic shoveling hay at his Australia Zoo as discovering a crocodile in the wild.

He was a great naturalist. Apparently a woman in Australia by the name of Germaine Greer, has said that the animal world has finally gotten it's revenge on Steve Irwin. She goes on to bad mouth him and say different things about his "mistreatment of animals". I was shocked to see someone bad mouth the dead.

Yeah - he was truly amazing. I relaly did love watching his show, you just could never be in a bad mood when watching him - and he had such respect for the world around him, people and animal alike.
